Doorn Bio Picture

Mr. Thomas Doorn

He is an undergraduate architecture student in the School of Architecture + Design at Virginia Tech. His current focus, based on his thesis year work, revolves around understanding the typical construction of building envelopes and thinking about the building envelope as a spatial element instead of a flat plain. The thesis aims to create inhabitable spaces within the envelope while also studying the spaces created around it.
