Prof. Richard S. Levine

Dick Levine is an award winning architect, teacher and director of the Center for Sustainable Cities Design Studio. He is the author of over 200 publications relating to solar energy and sustainable cities including his recently published book, “The City as Fulcrum for Global Sustainability.” He has been honored by ASES with the Passive Solar Pioneer Award (2010). He was a founder of the Passive Division, the Architecture and Construction Division and was the founding director of the ASES Sustainability Division. He currently serves on the board of PHIUS, the Passive House Institute of the U.S.
